Simplifying Care Management

Guidedstars Ltd is a children’s care provider, supporting young people across residential homes in Wales. We spoke with Amy Thomas, a Home manager at Guidedstars Ltd, who played a key role in setting up and embedding Clearcare across her home. She explained “I was the one who built our system for the company and went on the training sessions, and set it up from there”.

I found this really helpful. I also found it useful having the training videos, which were sent directly to me”. This onboarding experience enabled Amy to successfully build and launch the system across the homes.

Clearcare has enabled staff to stay organised, whilst giving them clear visibility of their daily responsibilities. Amy explains that “everything’s there on a daily basis, so the staff know what tasks they need to complete. They can’t go wrong with it”. 
This has helped staff follow clear routines, and complete their daily work with confidence. As a result, adoption has been strong across the team, and amy confirmed “the staff really like it. They enjoy using the system and they’re getting on with it.”

Easy Access to Information and Documentation

Clearcare supports effective oversight across multiple locations, in one easy-to-use platform. Amy highlights “I can be in one of the homes, but still have oversight of the other two homes at the same time. Everything is just in once place”. This reinforces how the system supports scalability.”
Managing documentation has become far more efficient, using Clearcare’s structured approach. Amy explains that “my main focus is the forms and building them, and the filing cabinets and staff files”, noting that “it’s so much easier to collect and manage everything”.

Ongoing support has been a key part of Guidedstars Ltd positive experience. Amy acknowledged this by saying “we get a response straight away, they’ve dealt with all our queries. The Clearcare team are really supportive”. This highlights the value of having a responsive support team available when required.
